Overnight at Allamanda Hotel, half board.
Considered the second-largest bay in the world, the Diego Suarez Bay is a spectacular natural setting offering breathtaking panoramic views.
Today, head towards the Three Bays, a pristine and relatively untouched area far from the crowds. This succession of idyllic landscapes — Sakalava Bay, Dunes Bay and Pigeons Bay — reveals a true postcard setting of immaculate white-sand beaches, turquoise waters and a wonderfully peaceful atmosphere.
Each bay has its own distinctive charm, yet all invite you to slow down, admire the scenery and simply enjoy the surroundings.
Return to Diego Suarez and settle into your hotel.
Overnight at Allamanda Hotel, half board.
Depart for a private visit to the Red Tsingy, a spectacular natural formation sculpted by erosion from the laterite deposits along the Irodo River. Over time, this geological process has created fascinating sandstone pinnacles in shades of red and pink.
Mineral terraces, slender spires and intricately sculpted formations create a landscape that is both extraordinary and ephemeral — one of Madagascar’s most distinctive natural wonders.
After the visit, continue towards Andrafiamena.
Settle in for two nights at a charming eco-lodge, recognised by the British Guild of Travel Writers for the quality of its commitment and hospitality. Nestled on a hillside, the wooden bungalows offer stunning views from their balconies over the dense forest of the protected area and the surrounding mountain landscapes.
Here, nature takes centre stage, supported by a strong commitment to responsible tourism. The architecture and décor showcase traditional craftsmanship and locally sourced materials, with regional artisans playing an important role in bringing the project to life.
Overlooking the property, the restaurant opens onto the surrounding landscapes and serves contemporary Malagasy cuisine prepared with locally sourced ingredients, combining authenticity with a sustainable approach.
Evening: Accompanied by a private French-speaking guide, set out to explore the dry forest of Andrafiamena as its atmosphere changes dramatically after sunset.
This protected area is home to a remarkable diversity of endemic plant species and exceptional wildlife. Along the forest trails, you may have the opportunity to spot the discreet fork-marked lemur, the tiny brown mouse lemur, the grey bamboo lemur, the elusive aye-aye, or, with a little luck, the crowned lemur, which, although primarily diurnal, may occasionally remain active beneath the starry sky.
Overnight at Black Lemur Camp, all-inclusive.
Enjoy a day of hiking and swimming in the heart of the reserve.
Accompanied by a naturalist guide, explore the forest while following the peaceful course of the Ampantsona River. Along the trail, the river has carved beautiful natural pools into the rock, filled with crystal-clear water and perfect for a refreshing swim.
The hike also provides an excellent opportunity to observe the richness of the local wildlife. From the treetops, you may catch sight of a Sanford’s brown lemur or a crowned lemur. With exceptional luck, you may even encounter the fossa, Madagascar’s main predator, as elusive as it is fascinating.
Easier to spot, the ring-tailed vontsira, another member of the Eupleridae family, is often seen moving in small groups. These encounters offer just a glimpse into the extraordinary biodiversity found within the reserve.
A stop beside a natural pool provides the perfect opportunity for a refreshing swim, surrounded by pristine nature and a wonderfully peaceful setting.
Birdwatching enthusiasts will also be delighted. Among the species commonly observed are the Madagascar sunbird, Madagascar bulbul and black parrot. With patience, you may also spot the Madagascar painted snipe, slaty egret or even the impressive African openbill.
Overnight at Black Lemur Camp, all-inclusive.
After a good breakfast, depart for Joffreville.
Located approximately 40 kilometres from Diego Suarez, Amber Mountain National Park offers a completely different environment. This mountainous volcanic region, ranging from 850 to 1,475 metres in altitude, is home to one of the last remaining areas of tropical rainforest in northern Madagascar.
A refuge for exceptional biodiversity, this protected green oasis is home to lemurs, chameleons, rare birds and lush vegetation. It offers a genuine immersion in an exceptionally preserved natural environment.

Arrive in the mid-afternoon and settle into your hotel.

Established in 1958 in the DIANA region, Amber Mountain National Park covers 30,538 hectares of mid-altitude tropical rainforest.
Known as the water tower of northern Madagascar, the park supplies surrounding communities with water and plays an important role in regulating the local climate. Its natural isolation has contributed to an exceptionally high level of endemism, with more than 80% of its fauna and flora being exclusively Malagasy.
Today, Amber Mountain is a major destination for ecotourism, conservation and research. A variety of trails lead through pristine landscapes featuring viewpoints, volcanic craters, waterfalls and shaded valleys.
