Arrival in Sambava and transfer to your hotel.
After settling in, we head out to the School Garden, a peaceful eco-site just outside the city.
Lunch is served on-site – a traditional Betsimisaraka dish made with local ingredients.
In the afternoon, a short hike through the hills gives you a stunning view over Sambava.
We visit Antsiraka lodge, then cross Lake Antohomaro before returning to the hotel.
After breakfast, we head to the Vanilla Museum to learn about local cultivation techniques.
We then continue to Ambohimanitra Estate, where you’ll discover how vanilla is grown and processed.
Lunch on-site, with a dish delicately flavored with vanilla.
In the afternoon, more time to explore the plantations and surrounding nature.
Later, transfer to Antalaha for a short city tour before checking in at your hotel.
We return to Sambava and check into the hotel.
Then we head to Nosiarina village for a visit of the Vola Maitso plantation.
We embark on a calm canoe ride along the Bemarivo River, surrounded by lush tropical greenery.
A picnic lunch is served on board.
Afterwards, a short walk and motorbike ride take us through the vast Soavoanio coconut plantation.
One last canoe crossing brings us back to Sambava.
After breakfast, we drive to Vohémar (about 3hours 30)
Upon arrival, hotel check-in and lunch.
In the afternoon, we explore the famous Green Lake, known for its peaceful setting and incredible colors.
Early departure for Plaideau village and its spectacular views.
We then continue to Daraina to visit the Loky Manambato Reserve.
Here, we meet the golden sifakas (Propithecus tattersalli), a rare lemur species found only in this region.
Lunch at Lémurien Blanc, a charming local stop.In the afternoon, we head slowly to mbilobe.
